Basis.is_compatible_with(other)[source]

Check if basis is compatible with another basis.

Compatible means that the two Tensors with this basis can be added, subtracted, contracted, etc.

Parameters: other (Union[Basis, btensor.basis._NoBasis]) – The second basis.
Returns: True if both bases are compatible, False otherwise.
Return type: bool
